Visiting St. Paul's

All are welcome at St. Paul’s!  We have a racially, ethnically, and socially diverse congregation with worshippers from Liberia, Ghana, Korea, the Philippines, Boliva, Nicaragua, Chile, Puerto Rico, Ecuador and the United States.

Come as you are! On a Sunday morning, people will be dressed in anything ranging from jeans & t-shirts, to traditional African dress, to their Sunday best.  Some attendees might be retired government workers and others might be from the local shelter.  We all worship and have fellowship together.

Help us grow! Our congregation has reached a turning point after some years of decline and has begun a process of redevelopment.  Come and be a part of a pilgrimage of transformation as we discern God’s call to serve Bailey’s Crossroads and beyond in new ways.

Nourish your soul!  Each Sunday, we gather around our Lord’s Table for Holy Communion, a table of fellowship with Jesus and a table of nourishment for our souls.  Our worship is grounded in the Anglican tradition and uses the 1979 Book of Common Prayer of the Episcopal Church.  Our music is a growing mixture of traditional and contemporary.  As our ethnic diversity continues to expand, we will seek ways of celebrating our diversity while being unified as members of the One Body of Christ.

We love to eat! Our congregation has a reputation for good appetites.  Join us after our Sunday service for good eats in Fleming Hall.  Some Sundays have a big spread and others have just a few bites, but either way, we enjoy being together around the Lord’s Table and the dinner table.
